Classical and Neo-classical pianist

Melissa Galosi

About Melissa Galosi

Melissa Galosi has been playing the piano since she was 10.
After comprehensive training with the most important masters of the Italian and international scene, in 2019 she made her debut in the world of
classical and contemporary music with her first album “Games” music by Mozart and Kurtag, published by
the important Viennese label Col Legno.
In 2020, she released her first album as a chamber pianist,
Rossiniana“, together with cellist Elena Antongirolami, as “Duo Rosamunde”.
It is an album of original pieces by G. Rossini and others, inspired by the music of this great Italian composer.

In recent years, Melissa has been focusing on neo-classical music, in fact, in 2020 she recorded and published the complete piano pieces by O. Arnalds.

In 2021, she merged the classical and neoclassical worlds in a single album entitled “Longing“, on which she alternates several of Chopin’s nocturnes with some piano pieces by Dustin O’Halloran.

Melissa has always combined the study of the classical piano with a deep interest in composition; she has finally found her truest expression in the language of neoclassical music and seeks beauty in the writing of original piano pieces.

She finds artistic inspiration in reading and during her long walks along the beach.
